Case Study
New IT System For 500 Users
A major organisation with offices throughout the UK decided to upgrade their IT systems. The system they
chose is very different to anything else on the market, therefore it was fair to assume none of the users
would have previous experience with it. Prism Training was asked to provide course materials and One -2-
One training for all staff.
Course materials were prepared ensuring each user had a point of reference after the trainers had left.
These materials are still referred to on a regular basis and have proved useful when new staff start.
The training style was decided due to the nature of the business. As it was impractical to have users away
from their desks for long periods of time, our trainers visited each site on the day of roll out. By following the
technical engineers they were able to ensure users were trained as efficiently as possible. However,
naturally there were some users who required extra support. These users were catered for by more intense
training.
Despite being spread across the country the client decided to use Prism Training on all sites. This meant
the users were guaranteed consistency and all users experienced the same high quality training.
